Geneva Milotte-Maran, age 80, died on June 7, 2011 in Fort Pierce, FL.

She was born in Fleming Neon, KY and moved here 30 years ago, coming from Delaware.

She was a cafeteria worker for the Chrysler Corporation for over 20 years. She was a charter member for over 20 years at Sunrise Tabernacle Church and worked as an activity planner for the seniors, worked in the nursery, and ran the food bank. She was voted “2011 Mother of the Year” at the church.

She is survived by her sister; Josephine Shehee of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer Hanner of Fort Pierce and John Dean of Fort Pierce and Tammie Golden, MD; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Maran, daughters, Rachella Kay Farris and Susie Stotler, son, Kenneth Fleenor, brother, Remus Holbrook and sister, Emma Rodman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sunrise Tabernacle Church Food Bank, 3280 South 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Sunrise Tabernacle Church, from 5-7 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the church on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10AM, with burial to follow at White City Cemetery.
