GEORGE CALVIN POHL
George Calvin Pohl, 84, died October 15, 2009, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Pohl was born in Rochester, New York, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 2005, coming from Vero Beach, Florida.
He was an Electrical Engineer for IBM for 35 years.
George proudly served in the United States Air Force, enjoyed fishing and traveling and was an avid reader of the newspaper.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marguerite Pohl of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Alan R. Pohl of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Cheryl Durant of Colton, NY and Terri Flagg of Boca Raton, FL; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jack Pohl.
Memorial contributions may be made in George’s memory to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S. E. Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
