George Calvin Witmer, 86, died March 22, 2009 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Witmer was born in Hagerstown, Maryland and moved to Ft. Pierce in 2006 coming from Newburgh, New York.
He was retired from the US Air force.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Evelyn Witmer of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Linda Martin of Chazy, NY; step-daughter, Rita Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Virginia Hoyt of Tavares, FL and Pat Groves of Chambersburg, PA; brother, Donald Witmer of Hagerstown, MD; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
