George Clayton Meland

George Clayton Meland, 96, died on July 26, 2007 in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was born in Barker, NY and was a part-time resident of the Treasure Coast.He was a mechanic for a machine shop. His hobbies included fishing and gardening. He was a loving family man.He is survived by his daughter, Beverly (Gerald) Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Roger (Jeanne) Meland of Florence, AL, David (Diane) Meland of McCook Lake, SD, 5 grandchildren; Deb (Chad) Evans, Jeff Berner, Anne (David) Socha, Greg Berner, Brian Meland; 3 great-grandchildren, Jake, Nathan and Abagail Evans.
