George William (Bill) Collier

George William Collier (Bill), 93 of Fort Pierce Fl passed away on September 14th 2020,
Bill was born on April 23, 1927 in Nashville TN. He proudly served his country as a Merchant Marine during World War II. Bill moved to Fort Pierce in 1977 where he enjoyed his career as a successful salesman for H&S Citrus. In his spare time Bill enjoyed Golf, Tennis and Singing. Bill always had a song to share with everyone. He loved giving his time at the Fort Pierce Lions Club where he held serval honors and served as their President. He started the very successful Vidalia Onion Fundraiser and enjoyed leading the group in God Bless America before every meeting.

Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years Norma Collier of Fort Pierce. He leaves behind his son Timothy Collier of Fort Pierce. Fl. And his two Daughters Melody Van Doran of Dunedin, Fl. and Cherie Desmond of Portland TN. Bill is survived by 2 grandchildren Heather Figueroa and Jennifer Shaw and 4 great grandchildren Sarah Meeks, Chaase Van Doran, Blake Casner and Geordan Shaw.

Bill is predeceased by his son George William Collier II (Billy)

Services will be held at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce on Saturday October 3rd
Visitation will begin at 3pm and a service to be held at 4pm.
