George A. Couden, 92, died August 21, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Couden was born in Scircleville, Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce 40 years ago from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He graduated from Scircleville High School in Scircleville, Indiana in 1938. He served in the Army Air Corps from March 1941 to November 1945. He worked as a farmer before joining the Army and worked 10 years with Kraft Corporation and 5 years with Ft. Pierce Utilities.
Survivors include his stepson, Eddie Myer of St. Augustine, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Donna M. and Clifford J. Hodson of Zephyrhills, FL; sister, Anna Waddel of Elkhart, IN; niece and her husband, Mike & Cynthia Waddel ; and great-nephew, Michael Waddel of Fishers, IN.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 12-1 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
