George E. Rake, 72, died on December 30, 2007 in Fort Pierce. He was born in St. Augustine, FL, and moved here in 1945.He was a welder by trade. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty L. Rake, and son, Edward Rake, a sister, Dorothy Evans, and 5 grandchildren, all of Fort Pierce. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Edward Rake Jr., and a niece, Dena Smith.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 3535 Deberry Road, Fort Pierce, FL.
