George Joseph “Buzzy” Kelley, Jr.
George Joseph “Buzzy” Kelley, Jr., 76, died June 6, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
George was born in Willimantic, Ct. Grew up on Fisher's Island, lived in Hobe Sound approximately 40 years then moved to Port Saint Lucie. He worked those years on Jupiter Island as a gardener, winning 30 trophies. He was a member of the American Legion Post 318 and past commander of the Amvets Post 14 of Hobe Sound, FL. He was known to all as “Buzzy”.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Kelley of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, George Kelley III of Okeechobee, FL, Curtis Kelley of Fort Lauderdale, FL; daughters, Catherine Kelley of Port St Lucie, FL, Corrine Kelley of Fort Lauderdale, FL; step sons, Dr. Kirk Little of Loveland of Ohio, Gordie Little of Houston, TX.
