George Thomas Loree, 58, died December 13, 2006 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Loree was born in Hornell, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie 26 years ago coming from Presque Isle, Maine.
He worked for Florida Power & Light as an engineer for 25 years and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. George was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church where he was a Eucharist Minister, Confirmation Coordinator and Parish Picnic Coordinator.Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Margaret “Peggy” Loree of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Julianne Loree of Palm City, FL; son, Michael Loree of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Sonia Recktenwald and Georgianne Bartlett both of Hornell, NY; brother, Alan Loree of North Hills, CA; he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Loree.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Catholic Church,1924 Zephyr Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
