Georgia Faye Wheeler, 79, died June 6, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Ms. Wheeler was born in Ty Ty, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce 50 years ago.
She retired from H & S Citrus. She loved her family very much and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her son, David Wheeler of Tennessee; daughters, Linda Faye Priest of Vero Beach, FL and Jackie Wheeler of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Rex Douglass of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Ronald Wheeler, Brittany, Samantha, Christy, John, and Terry Priest, Luther Wayne Peterson, Tommy Priest, Megan Peterson, Colton Peterson, and Luther Jr. Priest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Wheeler, brothers, Archie and Henry Douglass.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be conducted on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
