Gerald C. Mabus, 73, died April 10, 2010 in Port St Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Mabus was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Ft Pierce in 1987.
Gerald was a member of St Anastasia Catholic Church. He was a Real Estate Broker with All Florida Realty for 10 years. He was a member of the Ft Pierce Yacht Club, past president of St. Lucie Board of Realtors, talk show host with WPSL Mondays with Mabus, a former member of St Lucie County Republican Club, and Chairman of St Lucie County Code Enforcement Board, Citizens Advisory Board, and was a member of numerous additional boards in St Lucie County.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605
Survivors include his wife, of 22 years, Carole Mabus of Ft Pierce, FL; sons, Mark, Michael, and Steven Mabus all of Chicago, IL, James Schiro of Oakley, CA, Michael Schiro of Mekeno, IL, and Joseph Schiro of Florence, KY; daughters, Kimberly Shirahama of Hoffman Estates, IL and Karyn Mabus of Chicago, IL; sister, Vivian Greene of Rolling Meadows, IL; 15 grandchildren.
Services: Come celebrate Jerry’s life at his memorial service on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Ft. Pierce Yacht Club.
