Gerald "Jerry" Flynn

Gerald “Jerry” Flynn, 70, died November 29, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Flynn was born in Stuart, Florida and resided in Fort Pierce since 1969.

Jerry worked for St. Lucie County for 28 years in construction. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He had a great love for antique cars and had a passion for helping others, he was a guardian.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Betty Flynn of Fort Pierce, FL; children, Van & Dawn Flynn of Fort Pierce, FL, Cissy Flynn of Fort Pierce, FL, and Jimbo & Jody Edwards of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Jane Sills of Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, Van Flynn, Drew Edwards, Riley Edwards, Jordan Moss, and Connor Flynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Martha Flynn, brother, Donald Benefield, son, Drew Flynn, father-in-law, Charles Hall and faithful companion, Lucky.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service, Fort Pierce. A reception will follow at Haisley Reception Center.
