Geraldine "Fran" Guerin
August 29, 1934 — February 17, 2016
Fran Guerin, age 81 of Port St. Lucie West, FL, previously of Stratford, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
Fran was devoted to God and her family, and lived a beautiful, blessed life. Her love of casinos, travel, playing mahjong and spending time with family and friends kept her young. Fran will be missed by all who knew and loved her. “Set ‘em up, Joe!”
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, John Guerin, Sr.; children John Guerin (Elizabeth) of Hamden, CT; Michael Guerin (Gabriele) of Chicopee, MA; and Colleen Stadalnik (Peter) of Hamden, CT. She is predeceased by son Thomas Guerin. Survivors also include grandchildren Michele and Krista Guerin, Kelsey and Melissa Guerin, and Kristen, Lauren and Colin Stadalnik; brother Robert Pelikan (Jenne) of Sandy Hook, CT; sister Annemarie King (Robert) of Crystal River, FL; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Fran’s life will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL, at a future date to be announced.
