Mrs. Simmons was born in Niles, Michigan and moved to the Treasure Coast 30 years ago.
Survivors include her sons, David Gipson, Donald Gipson and Dwain Gipson all of Pennsylvania; daughter, Donna Simpson of Port St. Lucie, FL; father and mother, Albert & Betty Guthrie of Lake Worth, FL; brothers, Richard Guthrie of Boynton Beach, FL and Robert Guthrie of Michigan; sister, Nancy Danley of Lake Worth, FL; 20 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Services: A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
