Gibson West Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2021 in Fort Pierce, FL.
Gibson was a life-long resident of Fort Pierce, FL where he was born June of 1939 to Gibson West Sr. and Grace Arnett. In 1963 Gibson married the love of his life, Angelina. The two went on to have 3 children together, Mike, Margarita, and Marina.
He worked, and later retired, as a heavy equipment operator for Water Management and enjoyed Fishing and attending church at Son-rise Church of Christ in Fort Pierce.
Gibson is survived by his son, Michael (Teresa) West of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Margarita (Rob) Morrison also of Fort Pierce, FL as well as 7 grandchildren, Cheyenne West, Cody West, Joel Selph, Rebecca Cameron, Cory Selph, Lena Selph, and Hallye Garrison. He was predeceased by his wife, Angelina West and daughter, Marina West.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM in the Haisley Funeral Home chapel. Internment will follow at White City Cemetery.
