Giulio Stoffella

Giulio Stoffella, 89, died November 1, 2011 in Vero Beach, Florida.

Mr. Stoffella was born in Camposilvano di Vallarsa, Italy and moved to Ft. Pierce 22 years ago coming from Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He proudly served in the Italian Armed Service and was a P.O.W. He was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and past member of the Lions Club and Knights of Columbus. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed helping others and always had a caring soul.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ella Stoffella of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Dr. Peter (Celina) Stoffella of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Cathy (Jim) Hughes of Cary, NC; brother, Pierino (Graziella) Stoffella of Italy; sister, Giulietta (Bino) Bedini of Italy; grandchildren, Sylvia Stoffella, Anthony Stoffella, Stephanie Hughes and Michael Hughes; sister-in-law, Rita Stoffella of Italy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rino Stoffella and his parents.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
