Gladys Irene Baker Ashabraner, 85, died February 15th, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Ashabraner was born in Pekin Indiana and moved to Fort Pierce in 1958.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts and sewing. She also loved being with her family and friends and was at her happiest when she was taking care of others.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Marvin Ashabraner Sr., and sons Jonathan Baker and Marvin Ashabraner Jr.
She is survived by daughters; Julie Clark (Robert) of Pekin, IN; and Gina Beasley (David) of Port St. Lucie, FL, a daughter-in-law Susan Ashabraner of Salem, IN. Grandchildren Jennifer Rito (Craig); Michael Sanchez (Eve); Rebecca Maxwell (Mike); Travis Ashabraner (Michelle); Mark Beasley, Matthew Beasley and Marisa Beasley. Great grandchildren Kaydee, Cameron, Rylee, CJ, Andrew, Catherine, Angel and Leyla. Sisters Libbie Nordmann (Vic) of Louisville, KY and Joyce Parsons (Ray) of Corbin, KY and a brother Clint Baker (Opal) of Salem, IN.
She also survived by a step daughter Patty Monroe of Salem, IN; a step son Van Ashabraner of Paoli, IN. Step grandchildren Marianne Edwards (Doug); Amy Childers (Jim); Jeremy Ashabraner (Theresa); Stacy Morgan (Gilbert): Linda Jo Howard (Jeremy); Denise McNew (Ronnie) and Martie Miller (Brent), 13 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren.
