Gloria M. Scappini, 72, died October 14, 2005 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Scappini was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and moved to Ft. Pierce 5 years ago coming from Port Saint Lucie, Florida.She was an office clerk and a member of the Polish American Club of Vero Beach, Florida.Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Joseph Scappini of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Richard Scappini of Connecticut, Joseph “J.R.” Scappini, Jr. of Connecticut and Randy Grenier of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Paula Grenier of San Francisco, CA; brother, Robert Barbato of Colorado; sister, Carole Damiani of Connecticut; 5 grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her sister, Yolanda Arnauckas.Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
