H.P. “Bud” Thompson, 82, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away February 5, 2018 at his home.
Bud was born on August 16, 1935 in Tunnel Hill, Georgia to O.C. and Lucille Thompson. He moved to Saint Lucie County in 1972 coming from Gadsden, Alabama.
Mr. Thomspon was a United States Air Force veteran. He was an ordained minister. For 15 years, Bud owned and operated of National Church Builders, Incorporated; after retirement he worked for Bean Drywall. He was also a Commercial Rated Pilot.
Survivors include; daughter, Vicki Thompson Titherington Winterstein of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; brother, Eldon (Marsha) Thompson of Dalton, Georgia; partner in crime for 48 years, Jackie Robinson; brother-in-law, Claude Hobbs of Childersburg, Alabama and sister-in-law, Barb Thompson of Dalton, Georgia. He was predeceased by; brother, Wayne Thompson; sister, Margie Hobbs, and grandson, Seth Titherington.
A Gathering will be held at the Haisley Tribute Center on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4PM to 5PM with a Memorial Service starting at 5PM.
