Halsey “Ernie” Silliman, 49, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Stuart, Florida.Mr. Silliman was born in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie 9 years ago from California.He was a local handyman.
Survivors include his sisters, Mary Meehan of Port St. Lucie, FL, Colleen Meehan of Port St. Lucie, FL and Kim Cracchiolo of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Kevin Meehan of Port St. Lucie, FL, James E. Meehan Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, Edwin Marston of Port St. Lucie, FL; canine companion, Sheeba; as well as several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and many loving friends.Ernie was considered a great friend, with a heart of gold, he will be sorely missed by many.Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 6:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, Port St. Lucie.
