Harold Barnet Helme, 88, died December 24, 2008, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Harold was born in Epping, New Hampshire, and was a seasonal resident of Fort Pierce since 1987, coming from E. Kingston, NH.
He was proudly retired from the US Navy and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a submarine repair and recovery machinist.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Edith Helme of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Stephen Helme of Smithfield, ME; sister, Helen Avery of Fort Pierce, FL; one grandchild and 4 great-grandchildren.
