Harold L. Butterfield, 93, died April 20, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Butterfield was born in Chillicothe, Missouri and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1963.
He was a Colonel for the Florida Highway Patrol Auxillary, Past State Commander for the American Legion in Missouri, Past Post Commander of the American Legion, Jensen Beach, member of the 40&8, served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a 42nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his son, Roger (Susan) Butterfield of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Christine Westwood; and two grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made in Harold's memory to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
