Harold “Can you spare a dollar” Samuel Loupe, 81, died August 25, 2010 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Loupe was born in North East, Pennsylvania and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1961.
Prior to retirement, he worked in maintenance for the St. Lucie County School Board and was also a barber at Pete’s Barber Shop. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War, member of the American Legion and was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his sons, Thomas (Darlene) Loupe of Harbor Creek, PA, Frank (Sara) Loupe of West Palm Beach, FL, Michael (Kristina) Loupe of Port St. Lucie, FL, Harold (Donna) Loupe of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Janet (Fred) Loupe Hensel of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Tony Loupe, Peter P. Loupe, and Frank S. Loupe all of Ft. Pierce, FL; 11 grandchildren, Dawn Loupe, Brandi Wright, Frankie Loupe, Nicole Loupe, Jennie Hensel Carpenter, Liz Hensel, Thomas G. Loupe, Amanda Loupe, Cassie Willett Loupe, Peter Matthew Loupe, and Carrie Grace Loupe; 8 great-grandchildren, Noah, Victoria, Giovanni, Gavin, Emmitt, Neoh, Haven, and Jace. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Giambra Loupe, infant daughter, brother, Lee Loupe, and sisters, Carrie DiPasquale, Susan Thayer, and Laura Tottleben.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
