Harold B. Slone, 82, died September 27, 2016 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Slone was born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Prior to retirement, he was the Chief X-Ray technician at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and was stationed at Ft. Knox, KY. He was active member of Southside Christian Church, where he served in various leadership positions. He enjoyed the outdoors and participating in his passion of fishing at his favorite fishing hole where he would spend hours “wetting a hook”.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Slone; son, Tim (Nancy) Slone; grandson, Charlie Slone; granddaughter, Caroline Slone; step-daughter, Mary Stanco; step-sons, Michael Capobianco and Glen Capobianco; multiple step-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Marshall and Betty Sanders; brothers, Jimmy Slone and Winford Slone; half brothers, David Sanders and Robert Sanders, and multiple nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in the name of Harold B. Slone to Southside Christian Church, Ft. Pierce, Fla.
Services: Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Southside Christian Church, Fort Pierce.
