Harvey L Schwier

Harvey L. Schwier, 88, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully October 8, 2023.

Harvey was born March 18, 1935 in Sunman, Indiana to William and Evelyn Schwier. He married his beloved Opal in November of 1954.

Harvey spent 32 years as a Teamster in the transportation industry, he retired as a driver after 29 years. He was a member of the B.P.O.E, Elks Lodge # 1352 and was a past Exalted Leader for the West Palm Beach chapter. 

Harvey loved camping, grilling for family and friends. He was well known for the care he took in landscaping his yard. 
Survivors include loving children, Mark (Kathy) of Okeechobee, FL, Tim (Cheryl) of Columbiana, OH, Brenda of Port St. Lucie, FL and Doug (Kim) of Titusville, FL. He will be missed by his beloved grandchildren, Kristy, Stacey, Justin, Nicolas, David, Matthew, Todd, Wesley, Dale, Andy and Austin. He will be remembered lovingly by his brother Bill Ayers of Fairland, IN He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his devoted wife, Opal, parents, William and Evelyn Schwier, children, Harvey Jr and Teresa; siblings, Carl, Luella, Floyd, and Elmer and son-in-law, Michael Cordé.
Private services will be held later by the family.
