HASSELTINE IDA HUNT KNICKERBOCKER
Age 95, passed away on 23 January 2018 at Cranes View Lodge, Clermont, FL 34714.
Mrs. Knickerbocker was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was a resident in Florida for over 88 years. Mrs. Knickerbocker lived most of her life in Miami Springs, Florida. She was member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Fort Peirce. Mrs. Knickerbocker, in her earlier years, worked as base secretary for base Commander, US. Navy at Opa Locka Naval Air Station during WWII. She also worked at the VA in Miami, Florida prior to marrying her love, Bruce L Knickerbocker, who passed away February 9, 1997.
Survivors include her two sons, Shawn F. Knickerbocker of Clermont, Florida and Kevin P. Knickerbocker of Carlsbad, California. Four grandchildren Megan, Fleming Island, Florida, Chad, Southern Pines, North Carolina, Kyle, Denver, Colorado and Kolby, Dixon, California.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5-7 PM with a Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at White City Cemetery.
