HAZEL JONES BARBER
Hazel Jones Barber, 85, died November 18, 2009, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Hazel was born in Adel, Georgia and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1961, coming from West Palm Beach, FL.
She was the owner-operator of Barber’s Drapes and Shades, enjoyed raising orchids and gardening, was a past member of the Garden Club and Orchid Society, and was a member of Westside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Barber Brogoto of Grand Rivers, KY; son, Larry M. Barber of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Barber.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 22nd from 2 to 4:00 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A Service will be celebrated on Monday, November 23rd at 10:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
