We are heartbroken to share that Hector L. Colon passed away February 14, 2021.
Hector, or Papa, as we called him, had an unwavering love for his children, granddaughters, nieces, nephews, and family members. We will always remember his spunky sense of humor, and love of fishing and gardening. He was a strong man, who passed his strength and courage for overcoming the difficult times to his family. His love for his family was only surpassed by the love his family had for him.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Carmen. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Emely Colon-Heywang (William), Jenice Carrick (Tom), Lisette Morris and Chary Lynn Colon; his beloved granddaughters, Bianca Morris, and Alexis Morris; and his sister, Ruth Lydia Colon Bermudez and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his loving brother, Jose Colon.
While our hearts ache because we will no longer see him, we take comfort in knowing he is where he wanted to be, in the loving arms of his wife, Carmen and God’s Glory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to Treasure Coast Hospice;
