Helen Claire Hiss, 84, died January 28, 206 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Hiss was born in Glendale, Long Island, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1982 coming from Smithtown, New York.
Prior to retirement, she was a secretary. She was a member of the Court Queen of the Universe, Catholic Daughters of America for 49 years and past Regent and past District Deputy.Helen was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Anastasia Catholic Church and a Lawnwood Auxiliary Volunteer.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hiss.Survivors include her son, Randall C. Hiss of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Donna H. Wahrheit of Manorville, NY and 2 grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
