Helen Koukos, 99, passed away peacefully in her home on September 1, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Koukos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece moved to New Hampshire and then settled in Fort Pierce in 1947.

Helen was a kind and precious soul who cared for many children over the years. She always put others before herself. Helen loved to cook, garden and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

Survivors include her son, Soterios “Terry” (Donna) Koukos of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Theofania (Tony) Belford of Boynton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Paul (Jennifer) Koukos, Daniel Koukos, Salena (Fred) Ooley, Lisa (Lee) Brantley, Kristen (C J) Kanjo, Courtney Belford, Nicholas (Denise) Koukos; great-grandchildren Madison, Daniel, Hannah, Lindsay, Devynn, Dylan and great-great-grandchildren Ella, Aiden, Addison, Jackson and Maverick. She was predeceased by husband, Spirous Koukos and son, Anthony Koukos.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road Fort Pierce, FL 34947 followed by the service at 11:00am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at 2525 S 25th St, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. The interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 US Highway 1 North, Fort Pierce Florida.
