Helen Louise Salyers, 83, died May 1, 2007 in Clarksville, Tennessee.Mrs. Salyers was born in Ashland, Kentucky and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1960 then recently moved to Clarksville, Tennessee.Prior to retirement, she worked for the City of Ft. Pierce Building & Zoning Department, she was a member of the Ft. Pierce Garden Club, Parkview Baptist Church and Women’s & Senior Citizen Club.She enjoyed gardening, traveling and going to church. She truly loved her family.Survivors include her son, Michael (Janet) Salyers of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Jonda (Ronald) Crews of Clarksville, TN; sister, Wilma (Arthur) Abrams of Spotsylvania, VA; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Salyers.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2007 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
