Helen Pillion, 96, of Fort Pierce, Florida, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Port St. Lucie Nursing & Restorative Care Center with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
She was born in Munson, Pennsylvania and lived in Whippany, New Jersey before moving to Vero Beach, FL in 1979 and Ft. Pierce, FL in 2004.
Helen retired in 1974 as an operator for the Mennen Company in Morristown, New Jersey.
She was predeceased by her husband, George in 1973. She is survived by her daughters, Jean Collins of Tucson, AZ and Betty Wheat of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, George Pillion of Chester, NJ and John Pillion of Tobyhanna, PA; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Church, 9 Parsippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981.
Services: A service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home.
