Helen S. Buettner

Mrs. Buettner was born in New York, New York and was a resident of Ft. Pierce, FL.She worked for the City of Ft. Pierce finance department for 22 years, and for Fort Pierce City Employers Credit Union for 17 years as treasurer and manager, she also volunteered for the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center Auxillary.She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, a volunteer at the church rectory, and was also a member of their Women’s Club.Survivors include her son, George Walter Buettner of Loudon, TN; grandson, Brett Buettner of Austin, TX; brother, Henry G. Sokop of Pittsfield, MA; several nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Buettner and grandson, Eric Buettner.Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, 100 Savannah Rd, Ft.
