Helene Reister Buck, age 90 died unexpectedly July 20, 2015 at Lawnwood ER, she resided at Laurel Pointe Rehabilitations for 8 weeks since breaking her hip. Helene was the only Child born to Karl Reister and Helene Reister(born Messinger) in Torschau –Batschka-in former Yugoslavia. In July 1947 she led and escaped with 27 villagers on foot to Hungary and arriving in Austria–Lager Feffernitz later that year. She married Johann Oswald from Sucheu/Gottschee in Paternion –and gave birth to her only daughter Renate Oswald at Lager Feffernitz-Austria.In 1952 the Family immigrated to the USA and settled in California’s Los Angeles area and she worked in property management and at LA Jerseymaid –Helene later also lived in Yucca Valley for several years.
In 2000 Helene moved to Port St Lucie to be closer to her daughter.
Helene was predeceased by her first divorced Husband Johann Oswald and second Husband John Buck and her Daughter Renate Schall on 2.22.2010 which left her heartbroken.
Helene was an avid reader of Health Journals she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles –and was highly devoted to reading the Bible. Survivors are a Grandson Jason Weiss and former Son in law Paul Schall.
