Henrietta was born to William & Mildred Armbruster in Charleroi, PA. along with her two siblings: Margaret Aungst & William Armbruster Jr. The family moved to Canton, OH in the late 1930’s where Henrietta later graduated from Canton-McKinley High School. She briefly attended nursing school then married her high-school sweetheart George S. Afentul in 1945. The family moved onto a small farm in Carrollton, OH in the 1950’s where Henrietta was a homemaker along with working at the Scio Pottery. In 1961 the family moved off the farm to a home in the Leesville area of Carrollton. From 1970 through 1972 Henrietta, George & Elizabeth moved to Canton then to Sandusky, OH. In 1972 they moved onto a boat and traveled to Fort Pierce, FL where they resided until 1980. Henrietta & George then moved to Oklahoma City, OK until the mid 1980’s when they returned to Florida & settled in Vero Beach.

Upon their move from Ohio, Henrietta worked at Diana Shops then became a long-time employee & retiree of Eckerd Drugs. Henrietta loved the outdoors, was an avid gardener, seamstress and an excellent baker. She was the proud mother of five children: Henrietta, George/Pat, Fred, Steven and Elizabeth/Betty along with over 35 grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great, great-grandchildren.

Henrietta is survived by:
Brother: William Armbruster Jr. of Salem, OH. Remaining children: George/Pat (wife Jeanette) Shawnee, OK & Steven J. Afentul (wife Loretta) of Bossier City, LA; Elizabeth/Betty Camp (husband Michael) of Vero Beach, FL & Daughter-in-law: Kay Perry (husband Paul) of Saint George, GA. Along with her grand, great & great-great grandchildren plus numerous nieces & nephews.

She is predeceased by: Sister: Margaret Aungst, Husband: George S. Afentul, Son: Fred L. Afentul, Daughter: Henrietta Walters & Granddaughter: Gina Afentul Chauncey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach, FL on March 12, 2020 at 4 PM. Please make any contributions or donations to your favorite Military Veterans Organization.
