Mr. Kugell was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and moved to Fort Pierce in 1994 coming from Bethel, Connecticut.
His special interests included breeding large birds and oldies music. He was a great family man.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Kugell of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Elaine Elias of New Town, CT and Lisa Kugell of Danbury, CT; step-daughters, Patricia Rapisardi of Fort Pierce, FL and Katrina Boyd of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepsons, Ricky Rapisardi of Stuart, FL, Nicholas Rapisardi and Tim Rapisardi both of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Shirley Rosenberg of Manchester, CT; and 9 grandchildren.
