Herbert “Dick” Latournes
Herbert “Dick” Latournes, age 86, died on September 27, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida. He was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts and has been a resident of Ft. Pierce for the last 21 years coming from Windsor Locks and Old Saybrook Chalker Beach, Connecticut.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a machinist for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, Connecticut for 18 years and Kaman Aircraft in Bloomfield, Connecticut for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Theresa Latournes, sons; William (Barbara)Latournes of Windsor, Connecticut and Peter (Cindy) Latournes of Windsor Locks, Connecticut. In addition, he is survived by grandchildren; Amanda Beane, Matthew Latournes, Christopher Latournes, and Paige Latournes, and great-grandson; Jacob Beane.
Memorial contributions may be made in Herbert’s name to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Ft. Pierce, Florida, 34981.
Services: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
