Herbert was born in Bucyrus, Ohio and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1973, coming from Ohio.
Prior to retirement he was a tile setter in the construction industry, member of the local VFW, American Legion, and proudly served in the United States Air Force during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Margo) Rupe of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Debbie Liskin of Port St. Lucie, FL and Martha Price of Fort Pierce; sons, Michael Rupe of Ocala, FL, Jerry Rupe of Houston, TX and Ron Price of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
