Herbert Ronald “Ronnie” Sharpton, 73, died May 23, 2024 in Stuart, Florida.

Mr. Sharpton was born in Trenton, Georgia and resided in Indiantown, Florida.

Ronnie was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was a trucker for over 50 years. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church, Okeechobee, Florida. He loved hunting, fishing, welding, fixing cars, and telling the same stories with friends over their morning coffee.  

Survivors include his wife, Susan Sharpton; son, Ronald Sharpton; daughter, Susanne Self (Sharpton); grandson, Brayden Sharpton; granddaughter, Audrey Self; great-grandson, Haegan Sharpton; sisters, Jaki Gosa and Rebecca Bowen and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Myrtle Sharpton and brothers, Terry and Eddie Sharpton.

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at Freedom Baptist Church, 1115 SW 3rd Ave, Okeechobee, FL.
