Hipolito Gomez, 86, died March 29, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Gomez was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico and moved to Port St. Lucie 17 years ago coming from New Jersey.
He enjoyed working in his yard and being outdoors, had a love for music and playing the guitar, but most importantly loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Gomez, of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Elisabeth Gomez-Torres (Luis Torres), of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Elsa Gomez, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Lilly Gomez, of Vineland, NJ; son, Ricky Gomez, of Vineland, NJ; sister, Luz Gomez, of Arizona; brothers, Jose Gomez and Samuel Gomez, both of Illinois and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Russell Gomez and his daughter, Rebecca Cruz.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 1-2:00 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Rolling Oaks Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service Tribute Center, Port St. Lucie, FL.
