Homer Leslie Miller

Homer Leslie Miller, 78, went to be with the Lord February 24, 2007 in Fort Pierce, Florida.Mr. Miller was born in Blackfork, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1969 coming from Waterloo, OH.He worked for the City of Ft. Pierce Public Works Department for 22 years. Mr. Miller was a member of Bible Baptist Church, life member of the VFW and a Veteran of the US Army in the Korean Conflict. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Beulah Miller of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Janet Lee Miller and Jean and Tom Minton of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Leslie Miller of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Elenora Taylor, Wanda Artis and Martha June Pack all of Waterloo, OH; grandchildren, Shawn Miller of Gainesville, FL, Joan McKinney of Micanopy, FL, Laura Young, of Melbourne, FL and Shirley Minton of Gainesville, FL. He was preceded in death by his sister Martha Faye Miller.Services: A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Services.
