Howard Carter, 70, died March 31, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Carter was born in Lily Dale, Tennessee and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1946.
He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and a long and active member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Carter of Ft. Pierce, FL and Billy Carter of Lewisburg, TN; daughter, Randy Hoke of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Avery Carter of Jamestown, TN and Cecil Carter of Ft. Pierce, FL; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Carter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association,
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 1:30-2:30 PM with a service to follow at 2:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
