Howard John Parsons, 67, of Fort Pierce (White City), passed away on October 4, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce. Howard was born in Elmira, New York on April 4, 1949, moved to West Palm Beach in 1960 and then moved to Fort Pierce (White City) in 1983. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine, 1968-1970, and fought bravely in Viet Nam. In spite of sustaining a disabling injury as an iron worker in 1978, he enjoyed life to the fullest with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Georgia Parsons, daughter, Jennifer Buchko (Jon) of Winter Garden, son, Michael Parsons (Jenni) of Fort Pierce, son, Jonathan Parsons (Morgan Meadows) of Fort Pierce and son, Benjamin Parsons of Fort Pierce, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his twin brother, Harold Parsons, Lake Wales, FL and brother, Robert Parsons (Catherine) of Washington state. Visitation will be on Sunday October 16, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a brief memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home at 3015 Okeechobee Rd. in Fort Pierce. The family invites friends and family to come to our home after the service to celebrate Howard's life.
