Howard "Sonny" Beville, Jr.

Howard “Sonny” Beville, Jr., 58, died February 16, 2008 in Tampa, Florida.Mr. Beville was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He was a graduate of Dan McCarty High School and went on to join the U.S. Army and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. He came home to establish Beville Citrus and was a well known Rancher. He served on the Wachovia Bank Board of Directors and a member of the St. Lucie County Extension Advisory Committee. Sonny never met a stranger and was known as a giver to his community and leaves behind a rich legacy.Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Gail Beville of Ft. Pierce, FL; son & daughter-in-law, Brian & Tammy Beville of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Felicia Beville of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Terri Beville of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Gladys Beaver of Palm Bay, FL and Jo Anne Quarles of Orlando, FL; sister & brother-in-law, Ann & Dennis Chesnut of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Barbara Beville of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Bailey and Ty Beville of Ft. Pierce, FL; grand dogs, Buck Wheat, Gage, Ellie Mae, Chewy and Jake. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard J. Beville, Sr.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Sheriff Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064, or to St. Anastasia Catholic School Endowment Fund, 401 South 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.Services: A memorial service will be held at Westside Baptist Church on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Reception will follow at the Orange Avenue Baptist Church Social Hall.
