Ian J. “Iggy” Rawls
Ian J. Rawls, 63, died June 3, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ian was born in Dursley, Cirencester, England, and his first step in a lifelong adventure. By the age of 16, he had joined the British Army as a boy soldier and managed to cram a lifetime of travel and adventure in 24 short years. He was fluent in 5 languages and became a Mason. He worked in electronics for Phillips. Later he earned his air-conditioning certificate and wanted to eventually start his own business. Unfortunately he had a major heart attack and almost died, but received a new heart in 2006.
Mr. Rawls was born in England and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was retired from the British Army after 24 years of service and was a Mason. He loved fishing, reading, writing, computers, traveling and his dog and cats. He was a member of the SS Cyril Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Rawls of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Allison and Claire both of England and Anaka; step-daughter, Kimberly Robinson of Orlando, FL; step-son, Andre Vidrine of Orlando, FL; brother, John Rawls; mother, Janica Bogdaniec and grandchildren, Cullem, Zoe, and Katherine. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angela Rawls and father, Roman Rawluszliewicz.
