Ian T. Zook

Ian T. Zook, 24, died October 12, 2004 while serving his country in Iraq during a mortar attack.Corporal Zook was born in Peoria, Illinois and had lived in Port St. Lucie for 18 years coming from Illinois.He was a graduate and valedictorian of the Class of 99 at Faith Baptist School, Fort Pierce, graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute, Hudson, Florida, attended I.R.C.C. where he studied Criminal Justice, went on 2 mission trips, and in May 2001 he joined the U.S. Marine Corp.Survivors include his parents, Mark & Karen Zook of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Amy Zook of Peoria, IL; maternal grandparents, Robert & Dorothea Jensen of East Peoria, IL; and paternal grandmother, Barbara Zook of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas E. Zook.
