Ignatius Nicholas Serafino

It is with great sadness that the family of Ignatius Nicholas Serafino, age 90, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, announce his passing peacefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Ignatius was born on August 26, 1931 in Bridgeport, PA, son of Nicholas and Catherine (Pastino) Serafino of Conshohocken, PA.
He was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. Ignatius is survived by two daughters, Cathy Brewer and husband Lee Brewer; Charlotte Bethany and husband James Bethany; and one son, Nick Serafino and wife Elaine Serafino all of Port St Lucie, FL; eight grandchildren Jason, David, Chester, Tony, Angela, Danny, Lisa, and Greg; and eight great-grandchildren Lilly, Jesse, Christopher, Joshua, Chase, Quentin, and Duey.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Marie Lillian (Barbaretta) Serafino; son, Ronald A. Serafino; sisters Vera (Serafino)Vance, Marie (Serafino) Palmeiri, Concetta "Connie" (Serafino) Santillo, and a grandson, Nicholas M. Serafino, III.
A funeral viewing will be held on Sun., January 30, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service, 2041 Southwest Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. A funeral mass will be held on Mon., January 31, 2022 at 10:00 am at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. He will be buried at St. Augustine Cemetery in King of Prussia, PA.
