Mr. Cranfill was born in Knightstown, Indiana and moved to Fort Pierce in 1999 coming from Muskegon, Michigan.
He was a retired police officer in Knightstown, Indiana. He was a fan of NASCAR, enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and going on cruises.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Cranfill of Muskegon, MI; daughters, Donna Gayle of Indiana and Brenda Cranfill of Kentucky; step-daughters, Tammy Amos of Muskegon, MI and Tammy Casey of Florida; sister, Frances Vanderweide of Grand Rapids, MI; care taker, Karen Lufkin of Fort Pierce, FL and 10 grandchildren.
