Ira Errett Rodgers, Jr.

Ira Errett Rodgers, Jr., 83, died April 4, 2008 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Rodgers was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and moved to Port St. Lucie in 2003 coming from Lake Worth, Florida after 20 years.Prior to retirement in 1987, he was a lawyer and was the President of Lago Lucerne Homeowners Association for several years. Ira enjoyed golfing, football as well as other sports and loved being with his family. He loved life and loved people and will be deeply missed.Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lois Rodgers of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Karen Yancer of Ohio; sons, Robert W. Shores and Jim A. Shores both of Ohio; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Shores.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.Services: A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
