Irene H. Reese

Irene H. Reese, 78, died on March 9, 2007 at St Lucie Medical center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida after a short illness.Mrs. Reese was born in Lincolnton, North Carolina and moved to St. Lucie County in 1972. As young woman she was trained as an office assistant and worked in New York and Charlotte, NC.Mrs. Reese relocated to Fort Pierce in 1972 and started a new career in real estate with Walter Elston Realty then starting her own brokerage firm – Irene H. Reese, Realtors in which she continued working until her death. Mrs. Reese assisted hundreds of people in obtaining their dream of home ownership.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, growing and nurturing orchids and she loved being a grandmother. Mrs. Reese was an active member of the Exchange Club and she enjoyed working at the Chili Cook-Off each year. Mrs. Reese was a founding and active member of Unity Church of Port St Lucie; her smile and her deviled eggs will be missed on Sunday.
